SCOTT ANGELL: EXPERIENCE, ETHICS AND EXPERTISE

Two key goals are paramount to Scott Angell. As the Registered Investment Adviser of Angell Capital Management, LLC, Scott is keenly focused on providing both value and peace of mind to his clientele.

"Providing value," Scott says, "means delivering comprehensive and up-to-date financial solutions that make a real difference in people's lives." Creating peace of mind involves the development of investment strategies closely matched to a client's goals and risk tolerance. "We want a portfolio that won't keep you up at night," he emphasizes.

Scott takes particular pride in delivering financial advice that his clients have not heard from any other source. Staying ahead means staying well informed and well educated.

Scott holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He is a Certified Public Accountant focusing on financial, tax and estate planning. He has also earned the distinguished PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) designation through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As a CPA/PFS, Scott stresses the importance of independence and objectivity in providing financial counsel.

To keep up with the pace of change, Scott maintains memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association. He also maintains and exceeds the rigorous continuing education standards required to retain his CPA license.

Scott's financial planning practice emphasizes a conservative investment management approach utilizing various forms of securities and insurance strategies to help his clients meet their financial goals.

Scott was born in Missouri and grew up working in the family agribusiness. He says he enjoys challenges and finds satisfaction in providing innovative solutions that have a direct impact on clients' lives. Scott resides in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife Natalie and their three children.

JASON SANDFORT: INDEPENDENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND COMMITMENT

A former cross country and track & field star who runs marathons in his spare time, Jason Sandfort knows the value of persistence and hard work in reaching well-defined goals. As RIA Representative at Angell Capital Management, LLC, Jason brings that same level of commitment to serving his clients.

“I strive to provide independent, objective financial advice that will put my clients in the best possible position to be successful in achieving their goals,” Jason says. “The key is to look at the overall picture of a person’s finances and life goals before making any investment decisions.”

As a long-distance runner, Jason is most interested in forming long-term relationships with his clients, which allows him to meet their needs more effectively. That’s why Jason joined Angell Capital Management, a fee-based advisory firm, after three years as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.

“Working with Scott (Angell) really allows me to focus my attention on my clients,” Jason says. “I want to work closely with people in order to provide them with more personalized service and help them build a portfolio that best meets their long-term needs.”

Jason graduated from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management and Investments with a minor in Economics. He plans to pursue designation as a Certified Financial Planner. “The more I can educate myself and my clients, the better I will be able to help them with their investments,” Jason said.

While at the University of Arkansas on a cross country and track & field scholarship, Jason earned seven NCAA All-American honors, 19 SEC All-Conference honors, was team captain and member of five NCAA National Championship teams, and competed at the 2004 USA Track & Field Olympic Trials in the 10,000 meter event. He also earned several academic awards, including two NCAA Academic All-American honors and SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Jason is Series 7 and Series 66 licensed and carries health and life insurance licenses in Missouri and Illinois.

Jason was born and raised in Missouri and grew up the son of a community banker. He lives in Saint Charles, Missouri with his wife Jessica, and is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Saint Charles and vice president of the Kiwanis Club of Saint Peters, Missouri.
